AI Garson

What is AI Garson?

AI Garson is restaurant software developed by BuNet Bilişim on the BuNet AI platform. It answers a menu question from the restaurant’s own list by QR or voice command and shows the selection on screen. Sending an order to the kitchen and taking payment stay in a human step the restaurant defines. This layer is an AI-powered service architecture designed to manage real-time user interaction in hotel, restaurant, education, and healthcare institutions.

What is the product?

AI Garson is the BuNet AI product for menu navigation, spoken questions, and a pre-check summary in a restaurant. The image can sit on the AI Avatar layer, and voice can follow the Voice AI logic.

This layer is an AI-powered service architecture designed to manage real-time user interaction in hotel, restaurant, education, and healthcare institutions. A demo uses the organization’s own short knowledge set and one selected scenario.

Which problem does it address?

At busy times a waiter repeats the same ingredient, allergen, and portion questions from table to table. The product aims to take that information step. Kitchen pace, seating, and complaints stay on the floor.

Legal allergen and calorie compliance

Restaurant menus in Turkey must disclose allergens and calories. AI Garson presents that disclosure inside the menu flow, by voice and in writing.

  • Fully compliant with the legal requirement to disclose allergens and show calories on menus
  • A digital menu personalized instantly to the guest’s allergies
  • Automatic calorie calculation and an ingredient warning system

Who can use it?

Restaurant and café operations that have a service team. The industry summary is on the restaurant page. The product does not claim to replace the waiter; it tries to shorten repeating menu explanations.

How does it work?

The guest opens a table QR code or gives a voice command. AI-Core answers from the menu source. Order lines are confirmed on screen. Sending them to the kitchen is discussed only after a confirmation step the restaurant has explicitly defined.

User experience

The flow is short: see the menu, ask, confirm the selection, request the check summary. The guest sees the final lines; an unclear line goes to service.

AI and voice structure

Voice may not be enough in a noisy room. QR and text therefore remain. The voice channel can share a core with Voice AI; room acoustics are tried in the pilot.

How RAG is used

The menu, ingredient notes, and descriptions the service team has approved are the context. A dish that sold out is not called available before the source is updated. The knowledge layer follows the RAG/Knowledge summary.

Operational process

A confirmed selection goes to service or the check screen as a note. Payment is not closed inside the product. Voids and comps stay in the existing cashier process.

Integration

Writing into the point-of-sale system is a later pilot step. The first step can be reading the menu correctly and showing the selection. An integration is not treated as done until the fields that reach the cashier are written down.
